This June, take part in the #RareRadiantSelfie challenge—a powerful, visible way to raise awareness for rare disease during Pride Month by proudly wearing zebra stripes and sharing your connection to the rare community. Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, sibling, healthcare provider, researcher, friend, or ally, this campaign is open to everyone. While we’ll spotlight LGBTQ+ rare warriors throughout the month, you do not need to identify as queer to participate. This is about solidarity, celebration, and community.

Take the Challenge—Here’s How:

1. Dress in zebra stripes—get creative with clothes, accessories, makeup, or face paint.
2. Post a photo or video and share your rare disease connection in the caption: Are you living with a rare disease? Supporting someone? Driving innovation or change?
3. Use the hashtag: #RareRadiantSelfie
4. Tag 3 others to keep the awareness ripple going.
5. (Optional) Add a Pride lens if you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community and want to share how your identity intersects with rare.
